Chats and channels in one place - easier to find your chats in Teams
Do you find it difficult to find back to previous posts and chats in Teams? You are not alone! You may remember who you talked to but don't know if it was a post in a channel or a comment in a chat. This problem is so common that Microsoft is now merging the teams tab with the chat tab so you can find All your communication in one place.
In the chat tab, you will be able to get new options to sort, prioritize and filter chats and conversations just the way you want, so you can be as efficient as possible. There will be dedicated views for @omnämnanden and unread conversations, and you can create up to 50 custom sections, with up to 50 chats or channels in each section, so you can structure your communication in a way that suits you.
However, if you enjoy having it the way you have it now - that teams chats and group chats are clearly separated - so you can actually choose to Keep it that way, or get back to it if you didn't like the new way to structure communication in Teams.
The change is being introduced. When it becomes available to your organization, you choose whether you want to try it out and if so, get a guided tour of news and changes.
Design ideas in SharePoint can give information a boost
Do you use design ideas in Power Point? Now that feature is also coming to SharePoint to help you highlight information and improve the appearance on your intranet. Design ideas in SharePoint provide you with ongoing suggestions for layout and formatting of content.
The tool helps you improve the look of your pages by identifying text and image sections and suggesting new backgrounds, styles, and layout options for these. You can also get suggestions for suitable images and backgrounds for your section, based on your content.
Use AI to Write Better Texts in SharePoint
Now you can use Co-Pilot in SharePoint to create engaging and tailored texts on the intranet. AI helps you adjust tone, summarize or extend the text and can also rewrite text to suit your target audience better. Perfect for those who want to save time and improve the quality of communication — and you are always in full control by being able to preview Copilot's proposals before publication!
OneDrive + Copilot = Faster insights about your files

Teach colleagues how to pronounce your name
Do you have a name that your colleagues usually find difficult to pronounce? The name is an important part of a person's identity and mispronunciation of someone's name can be perceived as both embarrassing and offensive. But soon there will be a feature where you can record the correct pronunciation and make it available on your profile card.
To listen to how the name is pronounced, click the speaker icon on the employee's profile card in Outlook or Teams. In order for the feature to become available, it must first be enabled in your organization, by an administrator (read more here about how to do this: NamePronunciationSettings)
