Microsoft has recently introduced a new feature for SharePoint, the so-called Editorial Card web part. This feature is designed to improve both the look and functionality of your SharePoint pages and news. With Editorial Card, you can create visually appealing cards that are customizable to your needs.
Design and layout
Editorial Card offers three different design layouts that can be customized individually. These layouts allow you to combine images and text, create colorful blocks or elegantly divide content. This gives you a flexible foundation to adapt content to the style and needs of your organization.
Customization possibilities
One of the main advantages of Editorial Card is the extensive customization possibilities. You can edit images with advanced tools, choose different text adjustments, and use up to four different call-to-action types. With support for custom fonts, you can ensure that your pages represent your company's unique personality.
Availability and future updates
The feature will be rolled out globally during February 2025. In addition, Microsoft plans to soon introduce support for additional features, such as the ability to amplify content and send by email.
